Rehearsals

Weekly rehearsals take place on Thursday evenings during school term time. They are currently held at St. Peters Primary School Community Hall, Bellamy Road, Mansfield, NG18 4LN.

There is parking.We start at 7:00pm and finish by 9:00pm.

There is usually a brief break.

Members are advised to bring their own water.

Study Days

We hold these at least once a term so that we can have an intensive practice session when we’re learning new pieces, including breaking up into ‘sectional’ or different voice part rehearsals.

Any study days closer to concert time focus on finer details like dynamics and shape.

We hold our study days on Saturdays and generally start at 10.00 depending upon the length of time we need for rehearsing. There is a short break with refreshments provided.

For an extended day you will need your own lunch.

Concert Days

We normally rehearse at the concert venue in the afternoon of the concert, with the musicians and soloists who will be performing with us. Times vary, but these dress rehearsals generally finish by 4pm at the latest.
